Randall and Kim Crowder joined the BVCC launch team and immediately began working to provide leadership, key ministry skills, and support for the work of planting this new and amazing church! Originally from Marshville, North Carolina, the Crowders have been residents of Hampton for 7 years. Their ministry experience includes Diaconate, youth ministry, men’s ministry, adult ministry, children’s ministry, and small groups while serving at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hampton.
The Crowders have been married since 2005 and are the proud parents of three children, Kyndal, Cameron and Kymora (deceased). Randall works as a Health Systems Specialist for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton. Kim works as a family resource specialist in the city of Hampton.
The Crowders are passionate about family ministry and youth empowerment. When they aren't busy planting churches, their favorite things to do are travel to NC visiting family/friends and spending time together fishing/crabbing, taking their kids to the park/museums/zoo and just building lasting memories as a family in general.
Ade and Shonda Brayboy bring a wealth of passion and ministry experience to BVCC. In addition to being a Christ-centered family, they bring extensive experience in church leadership, education, and professional arenas. While Ade is a native of Bronx, NY and long-time resident of Newport News, Shonda hails from the great city of Danville, VA. Their ministry experience includes Youth ministry, Vacation Bible School, Men’s ministry, Men's Praise Dance, Women’s ministry, Couples' ministry, Sunday School, Small groups, Leading Worship, Associate Ministry in music (drums and percussion), Licensure training as Associate Ministers, Intercessory prayer, and leadership of Christian Education while serving at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hampton.
The Brayboys have been married since 2004 and are the proud parents of two daughters, Tyler and Sade. Ade currently serves as a high school assistant principal for Newport News Public Schools. Shonda is an HR Generalist at Holiday Inn Club Vacations. When they aren't busy planting churches and making disciples, their favorite things to do are visit relatives, amusement parks, movies, host family and friends, Bible study, or just spend family time at home.Their greatest passions in ministry are ministering to others (couples or singles), foreign missions, and worship unto the Lord.
