First Time Guests
If you are considering visiting Branches of the Vine Community Church for the first time, let us encourage you to come and see what Sunday mornings are all about! We know you may have a lot of questions and may be somewhat intimidated about coming to a new place. Let us assure you that we want your experience to be as comfortable and meaningful as possible. Below are several questions that are frequently asked about our church. If you have other questions, please contact us so that we can fully answer your questions.
What type of church is BVCC?
Branches of the Vine is a church that is all about connecting people to God. We are down to earth, loving, and committed to God and each other. We are not big on labels or titles and seek to relate on a personal level.
Where are you located?
We're located in downtown Hampton and we currently hold our Sunday worship services at 129 Franklin Street. We're easy to find and have great interstate access. Check out our Directions page for more details.
What should I wear?
Really, anything you like. Some people wear jeans, slacks or khakis. Suits and ties are fine, but not required. We suggest something comfortable... because that's what we'll be wearing. Our only dress code is that you wear clothes.
Will I be required to give an offering?
We do not ask our guests to participate in the offering unless they wish to.
What are the services like?
Our services are filled with singing, teaching, and fellowship. You will have a chance to participate in vibrant worship, meet great people, and hear a relevant word from God. Our services also offer a chance to connect with people who are trying to grow in their relationship with God.
How can I let you know what my experience was like?
